https:\/\/transforminternational.pixieset.com\/rumphi\/<\/a><\/p>\n Through our work with Transform International, we have been working on solutions for WASH in health care facilities in Northern Malawi, particularly, Rumphi District. Covid 19 illuminated the need for a profound change in the state of these regional care centres. Most of those we work with, operate without running water and functioning toilets. The problems are complex. However, a new initiative conceived by Transform International, Royal Roads University and other collaborators called STREAMS is showing success. Through encouraging grassroots entrepreneurs, engaging local administrators and tapping international funders, hope is growing in Rumphi for sustainable health care.
