Maternity Series: Malawi

This series of photos was taken in 2020 while touring rural health care facilities in Rumphi District, Malawi. The predominant health challenge in all the centres was care for expectant mothers and post-partnum support.

The People of Africa

These photos were taken over about fifteen years and 8 trips to Africa. My intent was to capture the grit of daily life. Countries included here are Nigeria, Kenya, Ethiopia, Malawi and Rwanda. A number of the photos were taken in the urban slum of Kibera.

African Wildlife

One cannot engage with Africa without engaging with its wildlife. I first started photographing wildlife during a visit to South Africa. These images come mostly from SA, Malawi and Kenya.
